Having worked with the homeless population for nearly 20 years, I have never been associated with anyone so driven for a particular cause as Mick Manley. Nor have I ever known a citizen so concerned about the well-being of the less fortunate in our community. He consistently advocates for people experiencing poverty, mental illness, addictions, domestic violence, trauma and developmental issues. I have been most impressed, however, with the volunteer services Mick and his non-profit “We can make a difference” provides. He gives selflessly to the homeless community: nourishing meals, clothing, personal hygiene supplies, and most importantly, a compassionate ear.

After starting a small business with Mick, I can personally attest to his desire to not only succeed financially, but his willingness to give back and help others in the process.
